Game development process:

Games Design Document

Before starting the development process the GDD (Game Design Document) is written. It includes details like what will happen in the game, the story, game mechanics, people working on the game, the target audience, assets to be used and everything else related.

Story

Every game has a story because at the end of the day that is actually what the whole game is designed and structured around. We like to involve the client in this process and hear out their ideas. The crude story is then refined and polished by our creative team.

Characters

Once the story is finalized, a stage is set to create the characters. This will include the hero, the players, the villains and any other supporting characters

level and Environment Design

The environment and the levels of the game should connect to the game idea, its story and its characters. We will help you design multiple game environments for you to choose the best one from.

Gameplay flow

Here the way the game will work from beginning to the end will be described in detail. This will include all screens, menus, sequences and the complete flow of actions and use cases for every possible scenario of the game.

Bartle Taxonomy

We like to use the Bartle Taxonomy classification to study and analyze our targeted audience and then develop and add relevant features to the game. This process often involves through research of the personality of the future players and the way they think.

Flow curve

This will define the gradual increase in the difficulty level of the game so that the interest of the players remains piqued at all times.

Concept Art

In this phase our designers will develop mockups and blueprints to get an idea of what the game will look like once it has been developed completely to know whether it will look good or not.

Concept Art is also a great way to take feedback from potential users as to whether they will be interested in an idea turning into a game or not.

Sound

The background sound and music is a key element to the success of any game. We will help you select the best music that will suit your game and your audience.

Prototyping

In this phase we test out the core mechanics and features of the game to work out any balancing issues before the actual implementation is started.

Game Programming

Having covered all the basics, the real game development begins in this phase.

2D and 3D designs

In this step, the artists, the 3D designers and developers work together to connect the programming script to the 3D models, characters and the 2D designs.

Proof testing

Proof testing of the game will be performed daily to see if the game lacks anywhere or not. This will help the designers to decide whether a new feature should be added to the game or the existing ones enhanced.

Beta testing

Before the official release of the game beta testing is conducted. Here we usually ask a section of the targeted audience to play the game and help us in assessing any shortcomings.

Publish

Once the game is finalized, we will publish the game for you and your customers to enjoy.
