R&D

an introduction to R&D

Being an innovative software house, our main aim at Gamified Labs has always been to think out of the box and promote ideas and products that are technologically advanced and new to the market. To do so and at the same time remain at the top of the business we focus a great deal on Research & Development.

We believe R&D is the backbone to make any innovative idea turn into practical reality. Our Research team works hand in hand with our developers to keep exploring new ideas and trends that emerge in the market, to stay up to date and to provide to our clients products and solutions that are not only hands on but also unique and competent with the ever changing software industry.

1 /Educational Technology

Educational Technology is the development and application of systems and techniques that aids to improve the process of human learning. Edu Tech maybe used in a variety of ways including gamified innovation and e-learning and educational games.

To help contribute to society in the field of education We are here to improve the process of learning and teach the skills required for the 21st century through the effective use of technology. We are devoted to helping parents gather feedback on their kids’ areas of key strengths and areas that require further development by developing pedagogy-accredited games and interactive eBooks with embedded parent-feedback reporting mechanisms. We are also dedicated to enhancing the in-class learning experiences by providing schools with the required tools, content, and methodologies to enhance the skills kids require, including leadership and entrepreneurial skills at an early stage of their lives.

2 / Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. These processes include learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using the information), reasoning (using the rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions), and self-correction. Today it is used as an umbrella term that encompasses everything from robotic process automation to actual robotics

Machine Learning is a branch of AI which allows a computer to act without programming. It generally entails teaching a machine how to do a particular thing, like recognizing a number, by feeding it a bunch of data and then directing it to make predictions on new data.

Our RnD team takes special interest in this field because the future lies in AI because soon we’ll witness a technological revolution when most of the human labor will be eliminated for automation.

3 / Blockchain

A Blockchain is a continuously growing list of records, called blocks, which are linked and secured using cryptography. Typically, it is an algorithm distribution arrangement for the management of cash without any intervention of centralized authorities, programmed to record the transactions.

A blockchain facilitates secure online transactions. It is a decentralized and distributed digital ledger that is used to record transactions across many computers so that the record cannot be altered retroactively without the alteration of all subsequent blocks and the involvement of the network. This allows the participants to verify and audit transactions inexpensively.

An example of Blockchain is the digital currency Bitcoin where it serves as the public ledger for all transactions.

4 /Internet of Things

Internet of things (IoT) is the inter-networking of smart devices; physical devices, vehicles, buildings, and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity which enable these objects to collect and exchange data. The IoT allows objects to be sensed or controlled remotely across existing network infrastructure, creating opportunities for more direct integration of the physical world into computer-based systems, and resulting in improved efficiency, accuracy and economic benefit in addition to reduced human intervention.

More relatable examples of IoT from our daily lives include smart homes, intelligent transportation and smart cities. Experts estimate that the IoT will consist of about 30 billion objects by 2020.

Our Research and development team at Gamified Labs is keen on finding out new ways to make IoT a part of everyone’s life by finding affordable and easy to use solutions for smart devices that are a part of every household now a days.
