ElGoal

Historical project · ElGoal, formerly YallaScore

Football anticipation. Shared at scale.

We built ElGoal to turn football fans from spectators into participants. Originally launched as YallaScore, the free-to-play game invited people to predict match outcomes and compete with friends and other fans.

Within six months.

60,000+active users
1.4 millionsocial media fans

A game built around the next match.

Football already gives fans a reason to care. Predicting the result made that anticipation something they could act on, with the match itself providing a natural moment to return and compare outcomes.

Free to play. Funded by advertising.

Participation was free. Advertising generated revenue, connecting the product’s audience-building approach with its commercial model.

From YallaScore to ElGoal.

We rebranded YallaScore as ElGoal. Alongside predictions, the platform brought fans football news, scores, fixtures and standings.

From the match to the merchandise.

We also built a custom T-shirt ecommerce store alongside ElGoal, extending the football experience into merchandise.

Disciplines brought together.

Gamification, development, UX/UI design, digital marketing and research and development came together around one football experience.
