Scope and contact

This notice covers the Gamified Labs corporate website at gamifiedlabs.com, operated by Gamified Labs Inc. in Halifax, Nova Scotia. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@gamifiedlabs.com with the subject “Privacy request”, or call 902-600-6002. Ridgeplate and Esotico are owned businesses with their own websites; consult the notices shown there for those services.

When you contact us

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, selected service and message. If you use the project helper, your selected project context can be included in the message. We use this information to respond, understand your requirements and discuss the requested services. Please provide only information needed for that conversation; do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.

The form delivers your enquiry through Microsoft 365 to our business mailbox. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails. You can contact us to stop further enquiry follow-up, subject to records we need to retain for legitimate legal or business purposes.

Necessary operation and spam protection

Liquid Web hosts the site and may process technical request information, including IP addresses and access logs, to operate and protect it. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical browser and network information to check whether form submissions are legitimate. These services are used for website operation and security; they are separate from optional analytics. You can email us directly if you prefer not to use the form.

The delivery handler stores a submission reference, a hashed representation of the request and IP address, a timestamp and delivery status to limit spam and duplicate submissions. It does not store a separate copy of the message body in that database. Hashed records are not treated as a guarantee of anonymity.

Optional Google Analytics

Analytics starts only if you choose “Allow analytics”. Google Analytics then receives page-visit and accepted-enquiry events, cookie identifiers and technical browser information to help us understand website use. Our tracking code does not send your name, email address or enquiry text, and removes query strings and fragments from the page address it sends. Advertising features are disabled.

Choose “No thanks” to browse and enquire without analytics. You can change your choice using “Analytics preferences” in the footer. Your preference is stored in this browser; clearing browser storage or using another browser may require you to choose again. Withdrawing permission stops future analytics collection from this site in that browser; it does not automatically delete information already collected by Google.

Service providers and processing outside Canada

Our website uses Liquid Web for hosting, Cloudflare for spam protection, Microsoft 365 for email, and Google Analytics if you opt in. Information may be processed or stored outside Canada, including in the United States, and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement or other authorities under the laws of those jurisdictions. Contact us if you have questions about service-provider processing.

Information may also need to be disclosed where required or permitted by law. Following a link to another site is subject to that site’s own data practices.

Retention and safeguards

Anti-spam submission records older than 30 days are removed during subsequent accepted submissions; this is not a guarantee of deletion exactly on day 30. Enquiry emails remain in our business mailbox and are not removed by that database cleanup. Hosting logs, analytics records and backup copies have separate retention arrangements. Contact us about retention of your particular information rather than assuming all records are deleted after 30 days.

The site uses HTTPS, restricted server-side delivery configuration and spam protection. No website or email system can guarantee absolute security. Access, retention and deletion requests must also account for applicable legal obligations and the rights of others.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, raise a privacy concern, or request withdrawal of consent or deletion where applicable. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. We respond in accordance with applicable law and explain any lawful limitations. Under PIPEDA, access requests generally require a response within 30 days, subject to permitted extensions and exceptions.

Changes to this notice

We will publish updates here with a revised date. A change to this notice does not by itself authorize a new use of information where fresh consent is required.
